Functional Pandemic Flu Exercise

The Howard County Health Department is
recruiting controllers for its functional Pan
Flu Exercise on Monday, November 17 from 7 AM –
3PM; breakfast, lunch and snack will be
provided. A briefing will be held on Thursday,
November 13 to provide additional information,
details and locations.
Controllers are being asked to attend the Nov 13 briefing either from 3-4 in the afternoon or from 6:30-7:30 in the evening at the offices of the Howard County Health Department, 7178 Columbia Gateway Drive, Columbia, 21046 (near the intersection of Rt 175 and Snowden River Parkway).
A controller will serve as an observer and provide injects to the scenario exercise as well as inform the exercise planners of the exercise’s progress throughout the day in their location. Controllers will be located throughout the county but primarily Columbia and Ellicott City with a Final Briefing held at Ten Oaks Ballroom, Clarksville, 21029
